JANUARY 2008
Dear Pastor and Friends,
Sue and I greet you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Before we go any further please take the time to pray for a very dear friend of ours who is a missionary in South Africa and has been arrested and put in jail for a crime he has not committed. Also please pray for his parents who will be traveling to South Africa on the 17 th of this month. The missionary is Michael Radebaugh and he is the son of Pastor Floyd Radebaugh. This is a very serious situation and needs much prayer. Thank you!
We would like to thank all of you that sent Christmas cards and gifts. What a blessing! God's people are great and we pray for you always.
The year 2007 was a very interesting year with many blessings but also many trials and tribulations. However, the Lord got the Glory in it all, and we thank and praise him as I Thessalonians 5:16-18 says "Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
We look forward to serving Him this year and seeing the great things He has in store for us. Please pray with us that we will keep our eyes on Him and Him alone!
Dennis's trip to Zambia with Pastor Tim Green and Youth Pastor Greg Watts was a real blessing. It was good to see many friends and men that have been trained at the mission over the years still serving the Lord. Pastor Green and Greg did a great job in teaching about 80 men in a Pastor's refresher course and preaching in the bush. Each one of us preached in one of the bush churches during the visit and 15 people made professions of faith.
The results of the ministry in Sub-Sahara Africa during 2007 are as follows:
3742 professions from all the churches and evangelism
348 professions from the August Bible Conference
767 professions of children during VBS
1579 professions from the meetings the African Encounter group held
6436 total professions from all the above
12 new churches were started
7 new preaching points started
2012 were baptized
Our sending church FBBC has informed us that some of you are still sending our support to the old address which the forwarding mail permit will expire soon. Please check your records and make sure you are sending our personal support to the new address which is FBBC, 990 Manitou Rd , Hilton , NY 14468 . The same is for the support of I AM Ministries. Also please remember that personal correspondence for Sue and I should be sent to our new mailing address 2451 Dora Ave., Tavares, FL. 32778.
This coming August we will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the start of the ministry at Kafulafuta Baptist Mission in Zambia . Many people have shown a desire for attending the celebration at the mission station. If you plan on being a part of this celebration please contact me immediately for dates and costs. Obtaining airline tickets is a must as soon as possible. We need information ASAP so that we can make the proper plans. Accommodations will be on a first come first serve basis. If we can not put you up at the mission station we may have to put people at other places that will increase the cost of your trip. We also need to know how many will want to extend their trip by a few days and travel with us to Livingston where you will see Victoria Falls one of the 7 Wonders of the World, go on a game drive and cruise the Zambezi River at Sunset.
In closing Sue and I would like to thank you for your continued faithful support of our ministry. Without you under the leading of the Holy Spirit, we would have not been able to be a part of all that God has done through the ministries in Africa .
In Christ's Service,
Dennis and Sue Anderson
