April 2008

The work in Zambia continues to move forward - the Lord truly has enlarged our coasts. For 2008, I am working toward maturing the church & body of believers instead of expanding the church. Over the last few years, so many thousands of people have come to Christ - we praise the Lord for such a harvest, but now it is time to help this new wave of Christians grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The rains continue to be quite heavy - the major problems are in the Southern Province. Many bridges have been destroyed and even major roads are now impassable. Rivers are over-bloated and many are displaced by the conditions. A missionary friend of mine in the South sees this as a year in which many lives will be lost. Even at Kafulafuta and in this region, houses are falling down because of the intensity of the rains. Just last week, one man drowned trying to swim across the extra-wide Kafulafuta River.

Bible Institute is in full swing - 5 classes are being taught and more students are coming to enroll. It is our prayer that these students will grab hold of the truths being taught and be sent forth by God to win this nation to Christ! Preaching and teaching continues to be the passion and focus of this ministry. Had many saved and many come to a place of sincere repentance over the last few weeks of preaching! Visited the following
churches:

- Malanbanka Bible Baptist Church
- Mpatomato Bible Baptist Church
- Filando Bible Baptist Church

Please pray for the following:

1. Bible Institute progress
2. More labourers for the harvest
3. Wisdom as we seek to make necessary changes 4. Maturation of the body of believers here in sub-Sahara Africa

Take care and Lord bless,
