Dear Fellow Laborers-
Psalm 71:14 “But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.”
What wonderful things God has done! We are sure this is true for you as well. Our great God is always good, and He has shown Himself mighty and merciful these past two months. We have been very busy through March and April traveling and presenting the work. It has been wonderful! The Lord filled in our schedule in ways we would not have anticipated. Glory to God!
He has also shown His constant care for us on the road. Our check engine light came on, and we had no idea why. We stopped in a gas station to check the oil etc. When we pulled out, our left axle broke! The Lord knew it was about to happen, and prevented a terrible accident. He also afforded us a quick repair, at a very reasonable cost. Thank you for praying for us!
At a church in KS, we had three souls saved on a Sunday night when I preached. Praise God for people finding salvation, and assurance in the finished work of Jesus Christ. To God be the glory!
We have also had four churches take us on for support these past two months. Praise the Lord! This pushes us over 90%!! We will be giving you more details as to our plans for departure after we meet with our missions pastor and have a better idea of when it will all be happening. It is an exciting time, but also a time for much needed prayer for wisdom in planning.
We have 10 meetings scheduled from now through the rest of the year, and also some other churches who have not decided whether to have us in or not. We would appreciate your prayers for more meetings.
Also, please continue to pray for my parents’ salvation. The last time we visited, I had an opportunity to speak with her, and she admitted she was not good enough for heaven. That is a huge step! Please pray for God to continue to work in her heart, and that she would recognize her need for salvation in Christ.
We thank you for your continued support and prayers. May God bless you as you serve Him and others. Have a wonderful day!!
Your servants for Christ’s sake,
Jimmy and Julie Tsoukalas
