Larry Waye joined the Decatur Baptist Church pastoral staff as Pastor of Adult Ministries in 2005 from Rochester, NY where Larry ministered for 23 years at the First Bible Baptist Church.

Larry surrendered to the call of God to ministry in 1971. He has been involved with the ministry work in Zambia since 1988 through prayer and financial support, personal mission trips to the field, and as an advisor to the development and organization of IAM Ministries.

He has served on the Board of Directors for several years and as President since January 2007.
