Bonner's June Prayer Update
July 06, 2011
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus. Hope this letter finds all well with you. Becky sends her thank you’s and prayers to everyone who has prayed and lifted up the Bonner family, especially this last year. The Lord is so good.
We just got off a nine week road trip that took us to Montana, Florida, New York, Missouri, back to Florida, Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and to Arizona. Many miles, many decisions. We had several saved, but a total of 28 people surrendered their lives for the mission field. Talk about excitement, somebody hold me down. God is indeed still calling. If we would only get the self and sin out of our lives, our hearing would be so much better.
The container is packed and ready to go. It will be sent out very shortly. Special thanks go to Bob Lemmon in Tennessee for the 20,000 Bibles. Our brothers and sisters in Africa have such a need for them. Many tracts and other supplies will be on this container as well. Thanks to all who have given to help get these supplies to Sub-Sahara Africa. So many of you have sacrificed and we know that is well pleasing in the sight of our God.
Becky and I are all set for our trip back to Africa this summer. We are going to Ethiopia on our first leg to visit Gomeju Tafesse, the step mom to Yohannes Getaneh. Gomeju came over years ago to live with us and help start the Deaf Ministry in Zambia. She trained my daughters Angela and Krissy in sign language who in turn helped me in the ministry with the very first Deaf Church in Zambia. That church is still meeting and ministering today. We will be with Gomeju for a week seeing her work and ministering to the Deaf.
Then it is off to Zambia for our Annual Bush Bible Conference. This will be number 24. Brother Dennis Anderson will be there along with Johnny and Barbara Pope and a few others as well. Brother Jim Brown will already be in Africa and wants us to come down as well. Please pray for this trip, and the people we will be ministering to. Pray for safety and that the word would have free course and not be hindered. Also, please pray for Sue Anderson as she fell and broke her hip and had to have surgery so she will not be able to come.
Thank you again for all your prayers and support to us and for IAM Ministries. Without you on your knees lifting us up we could not be doing what we are doing. To God be the glory great things He hath done. Pray for our trip. We leave July 26 for Africa.
In Jesus name,
Bobby & Becky Bonner
